Its primary component is derived from tea polyphenols. Compared to chemically synthesized antimicrobial agents and metallic antimicrobial agents, this product offers high efficacy, safety, non-toxicity, and long-lasting antimicrobial properties. It exhibits excellent dispersibility in melamine adhesives, UV coatings, and water-based coatings. Tested according to JC/T 2039-2010 “Antibacterial and Antifungal Wood Decorative Panels”standards, it achieves >99.99% antibacterial efficacy against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Its antibacterial persistence remains >99.99% even after Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, with antibacterial persistence exceeding 99.99% even after 5,000 wash cycles. Leading manufacturers have adopted this product for producing melamine-faced engineered wood panels, UV-coated wood flooring, and water-based lacquer furniture.
Usage and Dosage: Add 0.5% to the surface-applied melamine resin.
