PET faced panels are typically made with melamine MDF as the base material, covered with a layer of PET film. They can be laminated on a single or double side. The thickness of the PET film ranges from 0.35mm to 0.6mm, with imported PET facd panel having a thinner film surface than domestic ones.
The base materials including OSB board, MDF board, particle board, and plywood. MDF board is the best choice for the base material of PET faced board because the surface of MDF board are fine, making it the most flat option among the aforementioned types of boards.
The surface of PET laminated MDF can be high glossy and surper matte. Matte surfaces are also known as "skin-feel" due to their smooth and delicate texture, resembling that of human skin.
